Ad laetam
This design expresses my desire to go towards happiness, it is a hymn to Dante when he meets Matelda in paradise. In fact, read backwards, Matelda means ad laetam, towards happiness. Dante compared Matelda to Proserpine just before she was abducted by Hades. In fact, Proserpina performed a ritual just before she was abducted, without her knowledge, a ritual that took place in the gathering of certain flowers. Once she was taken to the underworld, Hades made her eat some pomegranate seeds in order to keep her with him forever. He gave her the opportunity to see the light of the sun for only 6 months of the year, during which time nature exhaled itself through the spring. So, after a dark period, I returned to see the blossoming of my soul through drawing.
