NUDE NOMINEE

The mother is the first world for a child and the last world for an adult. In psychology, the image of the mother stands as one of the primary archetypes—infinitely diverse and inherently ambivalent. The chthonic mother embodies both fertility and death, harmony and chaos. In my painting, I sought to capture these dualities. The mother, poised to nurse, is intertwined with seemingly chaotic patterns that evoke the pristine waters of the world's oceans, reflecting the balance and tension of these contrasting forces.
